 Joan
Bransfield Graham was born on October 31, 1944 in Wildwood-by-the-sea,
New Jersey. She grew up in that area and attended Rowan College in New
Jersey. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin, UCLA
and the University of San Francisco.
She now lives near the Pacific Ocean in California with her husband, James
Patrick Graham, who is a former FBI agent. She has two daughters named
Aimee and Heather.
Her hobbies include art, crafts, photography, traveling, camping, sailing,
poetry and reading.
Ms. Graham published “Splish Splash” in 1994. This is a book
of concrete poems, the shape of the words form the visual image of the
item the words describe. Her next title “Flicker Flash” was
published in 1999 and is also poetry.
